Administrative Office

The administrative office of UNESCO Global Geopark Muskauer Faltenbogen / Łuk Mużakowa / Muskau Arch is situated in a historic building – a former brickworks with a Hoffmann ring furnace in Klein Kölzig, Brandenburg. It is supported by the first limited liability European Grouping for Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) to be located on the German-Polish border, known as EVTZ mbH “Deutsch – Polnischer Geopark Muskauer Faltenbogen” (“German – Polish Geopark Muskau Arch” limited liability EGTC).

The EGTC is an association of German and Polish municipalities within the Geopark area, the Landkreise (districts) of Spree-Neiße and Görlitz, and Lubusz Voivodeship (Lubuskie Province). The 14-member EGTC was founded on 27/11/2021.

A branch office of the EGTC is located in Łęknica, Poland, in the town’s Cultural and Educational Center. The historic building once served as a stoneware production plant.
